It was an amazing experience to speak to 200 women at the African Women in Europe Empowerment Conference in Düsseldorf on June 18th 2016. In my talk I emphasized the need to prioritize the health of women as a right and as a tool to development. In many African settings, the woman bares the huge burden of ill-health.
